About Women’s Safety Hub

The Women’s Safety Hub was created with the help of migrant and refugee women. It provides information in different languages for those at risk of or experiencing domestic, family, and sexual violence. These resources help women find the information and support they need.

This resource is part of a larger discussion about gender-based violence and women's safety. It highlights the specific needs of migrant and refugee women in Australia. It also stresses the importance of culturally sensitive safety services, respectful relationships, and improving how we support diverse Australian communities.

The Harmony Alliance has created the Women’s Safety Hub. This resource is designed for migrant and refugee women, providing information that reflects their experiences and needs in Australia. The hub aims to support their safety and well-being.

We thank all Harmony Alliance members, community members, and women’s safety professionals who helped create this resource. We also acknowledge and value the collaboration and efforts of the Australasian Centre for Human Rights and Health for their support throughout the project and for their shared knowledge and expertise on dowry abuse in Australia.
